Auf dem Prinzip der Tiefenfiltration arbeitend, bilden die Fasern einen Weg, entlang dem das Prozeßfluid strömen muß . Das Snap- Ringmaterial ist aus Kohlenstoffstahl , verzinkt . Nadelfilz Filtertaschen, die genäht oder verschweißt sind . Die nachfolgenden Filterelemente passen in Ihr bestehendes Filtergehäuse.

Dagegen sind sie weniger beständig gegen aromatische, aliphatische und chlorierte Lössungsmittel und UV.
